ANTIOCH DOJO
Celebrating 22 years in Antioch in 2004
The Okinawan Karate School is a lesson in longevity. Alan Dollar first taught his traditional Okinawan style in Hawaii in 1977 and brought it to East Contra Costa County in 1982. He and his personally trained black belts have been serving the self defense and fitness needs of East County's adults and children ever since.
Kyoshi Dollar retired in May of 2004, but fortunately, his legacy of over thirty years of teaching continues through Senseis Douglas Achterberg, Justin LaVasse, Chris Canary, and Chris Whittle, in their individual dojos.
